Saturday snail mail...

Chloe's spending the night, so I let her loose with the Paper Pumpkin that arrived a week or so ago.  She actually made another different one as well, but I can't find it to save my life.  She wrote a sweet note in this one, and it is addressed and ready to go to her great grandmother.

I made this one with the stamps from the same Paper Pumpkin (except the 'you' which was from another one) using different colors etc.

My progress toward sending 52 letters in 52 weeks is lagging terribly this year.  I have a list of at least a dozen people to whom I need to send a letter.  I guess getting one out this week is better than none.

  1. Nothing nicer than receiving a proper letter. A dying art. Love the cards

    1. I used to love the feeling of putting letters in our mailbox and raising the flag letting the mailman know there was mail to be picked up. These days we have been having a LOT of mail theft in our community, and I don't put outgoing mail in our box anymore...I drive it to the post office. I think home delivery and pick up may also be dying.

  2. They look quite professional. I have only one person I exchange letters with, isn't that sad.

    1. Thank you! I don't get too many letters in return, but I like sending anyway. And I love having shared letter writing with my granddaughters. They really do it quite well, and my mother-in-law loves receiving their letters and answers them promptly.

    1. This month's was perfect to share with the grandgirl. :) She had fun replicating the designs on the brochure.

I have had a lot of really gross spam comments left lately, so I am having to turn comment moderation back on. To my nice blog friends, my apologies if this makes it more difficult for you to comment. To the mean naughty-talk spammers, just go away!
