Chloe and Caitlyn are at camp this week. The camp encourages letter writing (a camp after my own heart!) so I wanted to get cards in the mail to get there in time. Chloe is my little 'honey bee,' so that's what decorated her card.
I thought they would like pop-up cards. Perfection was not a priority.
Caitlyn's card is also a pop-up.
Hers has a ladybug, because she's my Catiebug. :)
And then there was a simple hello to a friend.
A bee-lated bee-day card for another friend.
A thank you card to the doctor, whose care I have just left, for her kind care and attention for the past two years.
And a hello to another friend rounds out the bunch and completes my goal for 6 cards made, letters written, and in the mail.
You go girl! I'm impressed!
ReplyDeleteThanks, LB. As Chloe was writing a letter to Carey’s mom while at my house the other day, I asked her if when she had children, would she teach them to write letters to me. Her answer? “Depends on how long you live.”
DeleteLOL! She keeps things real for me. :)
Haha...gotta love grandkids!

DeleteBeautiful cards! Pop-ups are so much fun and I love the design on the Hello card.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Pamela! If you're talking about the first 'hello' card, it was so easy that I'm thinking about making a dozen or so just like it but leaving off any words to be added when I need a specific-type card. :)
DeleteIf you were talking about the woven card, it was made using strips from magazines. Simple, but took some time. Sometimes I just like to play with recyclables. :)
