Necessity may be the mother of invention, but PAIN must be the mother of action. Here's my story in pictures.
Not venturing out and about, but at least I can now maneuver around the house much more easily and comfortably.
Shingle shoes...very-expensive cheapy flipflops...but they're now special orthotics, don't you know! :)

And she's mobile again!

ReplyDeleteGood thinkin'!!!!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant idea - I love it!
ReplyDeleteI feel bad for you, I never knew shingles would come on your feet. You had a brilliant idea. Also could you just prop your foot up and read?
ReplyDeleteThanks everybody!
ReplyDeleteHope you are feeling much better soon! I had a mild outbreak of shingles years ago--luckily the meds did make my case really light. My son and daughter both had chicken pox at the same time as children from being around a child with shingles. My son had a pretty bad case of shingles in his mid 20's --felt like he had the flu for a few days and then the rash broke out on his chest. I wonder if I could get them again--maybe I should get the vaccine!
