Oh! The beauty of a rainy day...
This is the view entering our gate today. It may not be anything special to you, but to me it inspired praise and thanksgiving! It has been SO long since we've had this much rain. How much, you ask? This much! Woohoo!!! And still more in the forecast. :)
Hi Kath
ReplyDeleteI love it when we get our first rains of the season. We have had a very wet winter in our parts and now as we head into spring, there is water lying in our paddocks everywhere. The farmers are happy and this makes for a stable economy in our part of the world. Happy farmers means fat sheep and lambs, cows and calves, bumper summer crops and plump grapes on the vine. Me personally, it can stop raining now because I'm feeling a little water-logged! But it is all good!
Cheers - Joolz
Thanks for reminding me to not take our-10 feet of precipitation already this year- for granted.
ReplyDeleteJoolz, and you've been walking in it...such dedication...good girl!
ReplyDeleteKim, I think it's only natural to not only take it for granted after ten feet, but to groan audibly! :) And I don't think I answered your last question...your Sonic drink of choice is probably a Sonic cherry limeade...real limes...real cherries...and Sprite, I think. Yum!
My friend made a very exciting post.

I'm going to stop the next time I go to Mass!!!!
We're grateful in Abilene too, with the same forecast for more!
ReplyDeleteKim! Great news. :) Maybe with all the lines, they will open more locations.
ReplyDeletePolly, so glad you are getting rain too. This drought has been a scary one. Hope this portends gentler weather patterns for awhile.
