What I'm reading Wednesday...

Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil by John Berendt

The Challenge of reading books off of my shelves, is that they probably have languished there far beyond the apex of their popularity.  I rarely read what is hyped by the masses while it is being hyped, but I may read it later...much later.  I picked this one up at a used book store several years ago.

I've been having a little trouble delving into my stack of challenge books this month.  Not sure why.  (That's not true...I do know why...Doc Martin on Netflix is why.)  But spending the past couple of days curled up under the covers was the little push I needed.

  1. Hope you are on the mend! So far I have missed the bugs, but my coworker had to leave Friday morning!
I hope to make more time to read this year. I used to read lots of books, but lately, I go to sleep as soon as I get in the bed! I won't be going back to my job after summer break--maybe do office work part time or work a couple of days a week! My friend wants me to help her do catering events which might be fun! I will be so glad to see this school year end--it's been exhausting!

  2. Did you finish this book? I couldn't... But Doc Martin is one of the better series.... and there are at least two more seasons that Netflix doesn't have.... he gets another new receptionist... I liked Foyel's war too..

I have had a lot of really gross spam comments left lately, so I am having to turn comment moderation back on. To my nice blog friends, my apologies if this makes it more difficult for you to comment. To the mean naughty-talk spammers, just go away!
