What I'm reading Wednesday...


I bought Corduroy Mansions by Alexander McCall Smith as a full-price Kindle book...something I almost never do.  Why?  Because the cover photo is of an adorable little terrier depicting one of the main characters named Freddie de la Hay.  What can I say?  The very notion makes me smile, and I need some light entertainment.

    So is it any good? I had a hard time with the only book of his that I read....

    It was what I wanted...an easy read with likable characters.
