1. Received a pay stub from work. Figured it was for the day I had worked last week for my friend, but no. It was for a bonus from the last quarter I worked. NICE surprise!
2. Received verification from Social Security of approval of higher benefit, and though it was just approved, it will reimburse me the additional amount for the month of May
3. I remembered to deposit the reimbursement check from orthopedic specialist. I am terrible about depositing checks, and this one has been sitting on the coffee table waiting for me to remember to take it.
4. Kasey bought Rangers baseball tickets and drove her father, brother, and girls to Arlington for the game on Wednesday. Carey's ideal Fathers Day gift.
5. My chiropractor visits were cut from twice a week to once a week. Next month it will go to once a month...maybe. TMJ. My stress level should have decreased since retiring, and yet I am waking up at night clenching my jaw, and have to consciously relax it. The pain is much better since seeing the chiropractor, no headaches lately, but still tight.
week's meals:
Saturday: Grad Party Barbecue @ Kasey & Beau's
Sunday: Chili Dogs
Monday: One of us had leftovers, one had a burger
Tuesday: Subscription meal
Wednesday: *Take out for one (baseball game night)
Thursday: Subscription meal
Friday: Subscription meal
1-2-3 $$ Nice!
ReplyDeleteI wish someone - anyone - would send me a check. It took me quite a while to settle into retirement, hopefully you'll settle in faster and lose that clenched jaw.
