An Echo In The Bone by Diana Gabaldon
Absolutely loved the first book in this series. Each successive story I have found a little less engaging, so I don't have high hopes for this one (which is probably why it has been languishing on my shelf for years, and in my 2012 Reading Challenge stack till practically the last possible moment). Not sure I really have time to finish it before the end of the year, what with the holidays and company coming and all.
Maybe I will try her first book. My first 2013 reading challenge book is The Story of Edgar Sawtelle. Can't believe I never got around to it when everyone else did. I guess because it's a big book. Right now I am reading Tell the Wolves I'm Home. Not far enough into it to tell you if I like it.
ReplyDeleteI didn't complete my 2012 reading challenge, but I'm really pleased that I managed to read some of them. And enjoyed certain of them far more than I thought I would do.
