Word around the neighborhood is that it is a madhouse, and the renovations are expected to take a month! I was thinking today about how to avoid it until the work is done. I guess it's time to try ordering online and pick up curbside.
In the meantime, I had everything in the fridge to make breakfast for dinner last night. Mmmmm...waffles! I had Carey take the leftover waffles over to the kids. They can warm them in the toaster for breakfast.
Love breakfast for dinner! We're working our way through another Sausage, Egg, Spinach, and Mushroom Breakfast Casserole, a slice makes a great meal anytime of day.

DeleteThis is a whole new concept for me. The only day I make a cooked breakfast is on Saturday when we have eggs, bacon, tomato and either fried bread or potato cakes. The rest of the week we have cereal or porridge and toast with marmalade. What did you have with your waffles? Maple syrup?
ReplyDeleteThe only time I make a cooked breakfast is when I do it for supper! :) I’ve just never been able to face eating something heavy first thing in the morning. When we have waffles (or pancakes) we do top them with butter and maple syrup, unless I want to get fancy and top them with cut up fresh fruit and whipped cream.
