Twist of Faith by Ellen J. Green
I got this one for free from Kindle First Reads. When a young woman's adoptive mother dies, she comes across a photograph of a house, and her research into finding its meaning puts her in danger and brings up family mysteries. I'm about a third of the way through.
This one sounds really good. I have a true life experience similar to this - I have always known that I was adopted but I can remember finding a picture of a girl with dark hair who looks exactly like me. She's my half-sister and I would love to find her one day.
ReplyDeleteIt's actually filled with flawed characters, and some downright creepy ones. Not really a happy adoption experience. I hope you have the chance to meet your half-sister someday.
