Skara: The First Wave
The Neolithic village ruins of Skara Brae on Mainland, Orkney, Scotland were inhabited two to three milennia before the birth of Christ. It is a great jumping off point for a story, but it needs better telling to keep me interested. This is my second try at it, and I think I'm just going to give up.
Too bad. It sounds like it could have been interesting.
