We have reached the end of the turkey. Today I had about a cup and a half or so of dark meat left, so I made a homemade Turkey Pot Pie. Looks pretty good.
Oh, well. I heated it up separately, and we added it to the individual servings.

Of course, about halfway through the baking time, I realized that I had forgotten to add the turkey. Grrrrrrr.

He he - I have never heard of making a pie and forgetting the main ingredient! Bet it still tasted just fine.
ReplyDeleteOh dear it's only 25 days until Christmas and we are hosting it this year. I can feel the stress creeping up on my now! Usually we have a cold meat and salad meal but this year for lunch we are having a full hot for about 25 adults plus kidlets! Wish me luck!
