How's the weather...

I just popped over to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration site to see if there was any chance of rain projected. Here is the information they had for my location.

Actually for the next five days and nights it said, "Hot. Partly Cloudy. Hot. Partly Cloudy. Hot. Partly Cloudy. Hot. Partly Cloudy. Hot."

Temperature today is 102 degrees Fahrenheit.

Ugh.

I know there are people who love summer. I invite them to spend a summer in Texas.

We are in a terrible drought. Water rationing. Burn bans. Fireworks bans for July 4th.

Every thing is dry and brown. And I pray that no fool tosses a cigarette out the car window.

Don't I sound cheerful?

I'll perk up around the end of September.
