Inspired by my niece Stephanie's beautiful post in homage to National Wildlife Week, I thought it would be fun to do something similar. (I'm shamelessly imitating you again, Steph, but you know it IS the sincerest form of flattery.) To change things up just a bit, I'm highlighting what I love...living four miles north of nowhere.

love you xxoo
High praise indeed. thank you.
ReplyDeleteVery impressive! How long did it take you to find them all?
ReplyDeleteHey there, Sharon. Thanks for dropping in, and for the compliment.
ReplyDeleteTo answer your question, I saw Steph's post on Wednesday, and it just started brewing...everywhere I looked I saw letters! On Saturday, while playing with my visiting granddaughter outside (camera in hand), the big "A" of the swingset frame basically shouted at me to take its picture. Then I looked up in the sky and there was an "E" in the clouds. After that it was like an Easter egg hunt...searching and snapping pics! I posted on Monday afternoon.
The vast majority of the photos were taken on our property, and none were set up in any way. On a couple of them, I was unable to physically access the 'front' angle, so I flipped the image.
Now I have a little problem...I can't turn it off! I think it's going to be awhile before I can filter out the alphabet from my incoming visual stimuli.
That is probably WAY more than you wanted to know. Short answer: from first pic to posting was 3 days.
Hi Kath
ReplyDeleteI skim read your post the other day, looked through the photos and thought - yeah, nice outdoorsy pics. I did not see the letters. Then I just re-read the post and OMG the pictures are fantastic. I love the letter E because you just could not have 'rigged' that photo. I am going to have a go at this now. Have a nice weekend, won't you?
Stay tuned...
Cheers - Joolz
Beware, Joolz, it's addictive! I hope you blog your results, would love to see what you find.
