What I'm reading Wednesday...

Once Upon A River by Diane Setterfield

I think I have been on the reserve list at the library for this for months; long before I came upon the 2019 Reading Challenge.  Yesterday an email arrived letting me know that my turn had come, so I am leaving the challenge limits to travel to England for this story while I can.

    1. I've had my share of those, and I can see how this could be one as it is pretty wordy. But I must be in the right frame of mind, because I'm halfway through and liking it. :)

  2. Ooooh, can't wait for your review on this one. It's high on my Want To Read list. I loved The Thirteenth Tale by this author...

    1. I remember having mixed feelings about The Thirteenth Tale (the incest and the self-injury bothered me) but loving the second half and especially the ending.

I'm halfway through this one, and enjoying it. If the second half holds up I will be very happy with it indeed. I'll keep you posted. :)

  3. I read the preview of this book on Amazon after reading your blog entry and I've just put my name on the list at the library for this book. Looks like I'm 35th on the list.

I have had a lot of really gross spam comments left lately, so I am having to turn comment moderation back on. To my nice blog friends, my apologies if this makes it more difficult for you to comment. To the mean naughty-talk spammers, just go away!
