Sunday dessert...

My mother was a great baker.  Kasey fondly mentions my mom's cinnamon rolls occasionally, and how they were the best.  I've been meaning to make a batch for a long while.  

They were a big hit at Sunday family supper.  And Kasey looked as happy, and messy, as she always did when mom made them.  :)

    1. I waited till quite late in the day to start them, and they literally came out of the oven minutes before we headed over to the kids’ house. I took the icing with me and iced them there. So they were still warm when we were ready to dig in to them. You’re right, nothing beats fresh and warm! Yummmm.

    1. I was very happy with the how they turned out. Not as pretty as my mom's, but very good taste and texture.

  3. I saw a video on Facebook of a restaurant that makes an ultimate cinnamon roll - it weighs three pounds! Definitely something to serve family-style.
