I think I will lay it out with scraps of each and see which one looks more pleasing to the eye.kath001https://www.blogger.com/profile/15419353146614030036noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5003449481427890465.post-28477672757165844962015-04-07T20:34:42.060-05:002015-04-07T20:34:42.060-05:00Hi, Pamela! I’m not sure what has been keeping me from the blog.

Thanks for your thoughts on the quilt too. It would be so fun to travel through Amish country; bet y’all had a great time. I have been keeping up with your A-Z, but mostly by my phone which is harder to comment from. Fun and beautiful places!
kath001https://www.blogger.com/profile/15419353146614030036noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5003449481427890465.post-17369707083016458982015-04-07T20:19:02.095-05:002015-04-07T20:19:02.095-05:00Thanks, Cath! I really thought I could step out of my comfort zone a little with this, but when it came down to it, I really didn't think I would like it, and it seemed like a waste of good fabric and work if I wasn't going to like it. :) kath001https://www.blogger.com/profile/15419353146614030036noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5003449481427890465.post-59005381307302808472015-04-07T15:21:07.846-05:002015-04-07T15:21:07.846-05:00I'm not a quilter either and I definitely woul...I'm not a quilter either and I definitely would have a tough time with all these prints ... I might add a pale grey sashing if the majority of colours are not white,... otherwise white may be a bit stark/loud ?
bravo, tho' for being a quilter ... I admire the 'spunk' of quilters ;)Threadpainterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00575214840766105122noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5003449481427890465.post-63556122042912195842015-04-07T14:57:21.666-05:002015-04-07T14:57:21.666-05:00You're back! I love quilts - admiring them from afar is one of my favorite pasttimes. When we were traveling through Western New York, we stopped at an Amish farmstore - oh my goodness, what amazing quilts and all made by hand or on a treadle sewing machine.Pamelahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12488927758678871106noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5003449481427890465.post-85573551046811532542015-04-07T04:54:18.033-05:002015-04-07T04:54:18.033-05:00I think white sashing would look lovely. Some people have a knack for making busy quilts look fabulous but I am like you and need to break them up a bit.Cathhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01705756224048875473noreply@blogger.com
