I am not a great one for formal budgeting but I am sure our January spend is right down. I have just spent £25 though on a yoghurt maker. I am trying to cut down on the number of plastic pots, bags and plastic trays from the supermarket and as we eat Yoghurt 3 or 4 days a week at breakfast I am going to make my own. I used to do it a lot when my children were at home. I know I could have used a wide topped flask but the maker has a thermostat and will give less hit and miss results. I’ll let you know!<br />The other thing I am doing is buying my fruit and veg from an independent greengrocer rather than a supermarket. This means I get fresher veg and use no plastic at all. Trying to save the planet one step at a time!Catherinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17769428408767311874noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5003449481427890465.post-2021736723624837382018-01-28T09:07:27.645-06:002018-01-28T09:07:27.645-06:00What a kind gesture by the gentleman in line behin...What a kind gesture by the gentleman in line behind you. I love it when I get to the drive-up window at Starbucks and the person in front of me has paid for my order. I pay it forward by paying for the car behind me - I wonder how long the domino effect goes?Pamelahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12488927758678871106noreply@blogger.com
