Happy Easter...

I hope that everyone had a lovely Easter.  We had a quiet day.  I made Faithy's Favorite Layered Dessert to take to Sunday family dinner at Kasey's, decorated with some candy Easter eggs, of course.

I've been working on a project for an article that is due at the end of the week.  I'm getting close to being done, but need to take photographs, and it has been a bit cloudy and so somewhat dark in the house.  The longer it takes, the more time I have to think that things need tweaking.

I work all week this week.  I am not used to working that many days in a row anymore!

  1. We had a quiet Easter, recovering from our two days of field tripping Presidential and other historic sites. I'm so behind in my blog reading - hope to catch up today.

    1. Oooh! Grown up field trips sound much more appealing to me than the school groups. I used to be so glad that my husband had a work schedule that made him available to volunteer for field trips when the kids were in school…they made me crazy, but he loved them. :)

  2. Yep, I have this same recipe. Usually make it with pistachio pudding, with chocolate curls on top. It's a family favourite, for sure.

    1. I haven’t made it with pistachio, but I remember seeing it on your blog and commenting. I love pistachio flavor, so I really need to make it your way. :)

I have had a lot of really gross spam comments left lately, so I am having to turn comment moderation back on. To my nice blog friends, my apologies if this makes it more difficult for you to comment. To the mean naughty-talk spammers, just go away!
