What I'm reading Wednesday...

Crow Hollow by Michael Wallace

A Puritan widow is abducted by Native Americans.  She escapes/is rescued, but is forced to leave her young daughter behind.  Desperate to find her daughter, the widow joins forces with an English spy who is looking into...  Well, I'm a third of the way into the book, and I don't really know what the heck the spy is looking into yet.  :)

  1. Maybe it is one of those that you have to decide for yourself. I just finished My Name is Lucy Barton and I have a feeling I missed something so I keep picking it up and re-reading parts of it. Also read the reviews which I thought would help but only made me feel dumb.

    1. Thanks for letting me know your thoughts on Lucy Barton. I liked Olive Kitteridge too, so was wondering about this one. Your thoughts on it let me know that I need to check a bound copy out from the library if I read it. I find it frustrating to read an ebook that I need to flip back and reread parts of.

    1. I finished it this evening. It was pretty good, but I had to suspend disbelief about some things...like how quickly they were able to travel great distances.

I have had a lot of really gross spam comments left lately, so I am having to turn comment moderation back on. To my nice blog friends, my apologies if this makes it more difficult for you to comment. To the mean naughty-talk spammers, just go away!
