Women don't fight fair...

I received a request for a post today from a man who was having a bad day. He said I should write a post entitled, "Women don't fight fair."

Okay. So he's right. We don't.

Now don't get your feathers ruffled...but think about feathers...and how in the bird world, the males are the ones with the bright plumage. It's not fair that they are more attractive than the females of their species. But nobody accuses them of 'playing games.' Same thing. We gotta use what God gave us.

We have natural beauty...

and grace...

and style.

We entertain with natural skill...

and natural talent.

We share ideas with that certain je ne sais quoi...

but we can be direct when we want to...

and will only pout if we have to.

And we always find strength by sticking together!

  1. This made me laugh!! So true. In looking at these pictures, I thought I was looking at Kacey. Her daughter looks a lot like I remember her when she was little. So adorable.

  2. 2, 5, 7, and 8 are Caitlyn.
    1, 3, 4, and 6 are Chloe.
9 is of them both. They're 14 months apart, and wearing the same size. I need to post more pictures of the boys, and never hardly manage to get them all together! Kasey is right behind you with five, but you won with that little cutie pie caboose of yours. :)

  5. Hi Melissa and Sarah! So nice to have you stop in. And I'm really glad you liked this post. I had a lot of fun putting it together. Even the gentleman who suggested the title told me he liked it... even though I don't think it was quite what he had in mind. :)

    Please come visit again!

  8. Thanks, Becky. I'll be back to yours as well. I mean when the first post I read is about Daphne DuMaurier...it's kismet!

And Drew, you say the sweetest things. And it's high praise indeed, coming from you. Thank you.

I have had a lot of really gross spam comments left lately, so I am having to turn comment moderation back on. To my nice blog friends, my apologies if this makes it more difficult for you to comment. To the mean naughty-talk spammers, just go away!
